Frame Engine is a DIT company in Toronto. We do DIT work on set and build the tools we needed there: an iPad monitor with scopes, an app for comparing grades, Resolve plugins, HDR stills tools, custom brackets and carts, and estimating and invoicing software.

All three came out of problems we had on set. No accounts, no subscriptions, no cloud. Footage stays on your devices.

Quad monitor, multi-feed recorder and touch scopes. Takes direct UVC capture, NDI, SMPTE ST 2110, DeckLink, and a live picture from Resolve or Premiere over Wi-Fi.

Copy cards to several drives, checked and sealed.
Reads each card once, writes every drive at the same time, reads everything back, and writes an MHL per drive. Picks up where it left off after a crash. Watch progress from your phone.

How we work
We come from the set. Every tool is built by people who have run the cart, cut the dailies, and sent the invoice.
That means tools that hold up on a long day, get the colour science right, and allow for the way a real shoot goes. Everything is custom, documented, and supported after delivery.
